Jeremiah 30:14, “All your allies have forgotten you; they care nothing for you. I have struck you as an enemy would and punished you as would the cruel, because your guilt is so great and your sins so many.”

There comes a time when all our friends are unavailable. We are wounded and sore. It is during those times we look at ourselves and see our own guilt and sin.

We know that all have sinned, (Romans 3:23), so we should not be surprised when God points out areas where we have failed. All we need to do is repent (turn around and go the other way) and ask God to forgive us.

Then cling to the promise in Jeremiah 30:17, “But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,” declares the Lord…”
