Prayer is Not Your Last Resort; It’s Your Strongest Weapon

Genesis 30:2, “Jacob’s anger was kindled against Rachel, and he said, ‘Am I  in the place of God, who has withheld from you the fruit of the womb?'” ESV

I can almost hear Jacob say to Rachel, “What do you expect me to do? I am not God!”

But there was something he could do. He could pray for her like his father prayed for his mother.

Until the time of Moses, the history of the world was repeated orally. He would have been told that Isaac prayed for Rebekah to have a child.

Prayer is not your last resort; it is your strongest weapon.
