I’ve been reading “What Happens When Women Say Yes to God” by Lisa Terkeurst. I am taking the time to do the Bible Studies in the back of each chapter.
Since I started saying “yes” to God, my posts have been more personal. I’ve shared some pretty embarrassing things! I am giving more time to writing.
I was amazed when the sermon at church today was about unwrapping your future by saying “yes” to God.
“Excuses are ‘no’ to God’s plan for your life…saying ‘yes’ to God empowers and anoints you to do his plan for your life…fear makes us say ‘no’…the lure of money and power tempt you to miss God’s plan.” Pastor Monte Knudsen, Faith Christian Outreach Church
I was shocked when I read today’s verse:
Joshua 21:45, “Not one word of all the good promises that the Lord had made to the house of Israel had failed; all came to pass.” ESV
I am so glad I said “yes”!
Thank you that all the promises you made to me are coming to pass.
