My granddaughter, 4, came to visit today and she was shocked that I still had my Christmas tree up. She, and her mom, helped me take it down. She was so cute rolling up feather boas and tulle. Whenever a feather came loose she stuck it in her pocket to take home. (You can see the tree by clicking here.)

After she left, I took the lights out of the windows and put away the manger scene window clings. David removed the outside lights after work and brought in the Christmas flag. It looks like all of our Christmas decorations are put away from the outside.

Inside is another story.

The dining room table downstairs is covered with tree ornaments and stacked boxes. The Christmas cups, glasses, towels, and dishes are still in the cupboards. Right now David is boxing up the outside lights and I will tackle the tree ornaments after I finish this post.

No one can see into my basement or cupboards, just like no one can see into a person’s heart. But there will come a day when all will be revealed.

Matthew 13:49, “That is the way it will be at the end of the world. The angels will come and separate the wicked people from the righteous.” NLT

Dear Lord,

Forgive me for any wickedness or evil in my heart. Thank you for paying the price for my sin.
