When my phone pinged, I figured it was a message from my husband. Imagine my shock when I read this text:

“Someone is replacing the security info for Microsoft account ***********@hotmail.com.”

Really? The account I closed!?!

They gave me a link to use if I was not the one changing the security info. It took me to the log in page. When I tried to log in, I received the message that the account does not exist.

If it doesn’t exist, how could the security info be changed?

I scrolled to the help section. Apparently, this has never happened to anyone else. I tried to pose the question on the forum, but first, I had to sign in…

…I can’t sign in because my account is closed!

I could totally relate to many of the verses David wrote today.

Psalms 38:12, “Meanwhile, my enemies lay traps to kill me. Those who wish me harm make plans to ruin me. All day long they plan their treachery.” NLT

Psalms 38:19, “I have many aggressive enemies; they hate me without reason.” NLT

Psalms 40:14, “May those who try to destroy me be humiliated and put to shame. May those who take delight in my trouble be turned back in disgrace.” NLT

Dear Jesus,

You are in control of this situation. Thank you for the challenge, because I know I don’t have to solve it. I trust you to show me what to do.

Psalms 69:32, “The humble will see their God at work and be glad. Let all who seek God’s help be encouraged.” NLT
