Last night we had to drive to Burlington to return some ink to Staples. We found out our printer is not compatible with Windows10. (God had already provided a free replacement printer.)
Our first stop was “Uncle Ronnie’s” on “Derek Lincoln Drive.” (I mention the address because Lincoln is our Derek’s middle name.) I was sick before Valentine’s Day and we celebrated it late. We split the special, “Prime Rib Dinner” with “Salted Caramel Apple Pie” for dessert.
We walked off dinner looking at daybeds and futons; because we need to replace the leaky air bed in my office. We didn’t find one we liked, and ended up buying another air bed that we found on sale.
David dropped me off at “Joann’s” while he returned the ink a few doors down. I found the navy blue curtain tie-back that I needed for my office. When David found me, I was looking at a pair of “over the knee” St. Patrick’s Day socks, which were trimmed in black lace.
When I asked him if he thought I could pull them off, he diplomatically replied,
“Green is not your color.”
We drove home at 8 pm and the sky was clear. We could see the moon and all of the twinkling stars. It was a beautiful night.
Psalms 8:3, “When I look at the night sky and see the work of your fingers – the moon and the stars you set in place.” NLT
Thank you for the beauty all around us.
