3.16.16

My last day being a couch potato. Oddly enough, I am not stir crazy. I guess I was more run down than I realized. I got out my Bible to see what my assignment was for today.

2 Chronicles 3:14, “Across the entrance of the Most Holy Place he hung a curtain made of fine linen, decorated with blue, purple, and scarlet thread and embroidered with figures of cherubim.” New Living Translation

Embroider!

I’ve been embroidering quilt squares for my daughter’s tee-shirt quilt for over 6 years. Her friends covered her shirts, (from volleyball, basketball, and church camps), with signatures.

I cut just one square for each shirt, patching the signatures from the back of the shirt on to the square. There were 4 gray tee-shirts covered with signatures and I got tired of embroidering black on gray. I have one left to finish. It looks like I will be working on it today.

Dear Father God,

In Matthew 11:30, Jesus told us his yoke was easy and his burden was light. My job for the day is a light one! Help me to obey the surgeon’s orders.

In Jesus Name,

Amen
