I struggled writing my daily post yesterday. I couldn’t think of any mountain I was trying to climb. I did think of others facing huge obstacles and decided the verse must have been for them.

Then I opened the envelope from the hospital.

After my surgery, I jokingly told Derek we might have to sell the truck to pay our share of the hospital bill. I was wrong. It would take 2 trucks.

I would not have been able to go to sleep last night without that verse telling me God is moving to help me. The verses he showed me today were further encouragement.

2 Chronicles 32:7, 8, “Be strong and courageous! Don’t be afraid or discouraged…for there is power far greater on our side!…We have the Lord our God to help us and to fight our battles for us. Hezekiah’s words greatly encouraged the people.” New Living Translation

They encouraged me, too!

Dear Father God,

I know You have got this. We might not be able to write one check, but I know You will show us the areas to trim to free up funds for the payment. You covered the hospital bills when our children were born and I know You will show us how to take care of this.

In Jesus Name,
