Today we said goodbye to Louise.
I used to babysit for her three children. I remember that they were always smiling. I’ll never forget Louise’s smile…
…or her kitchen. It was bright, sunny, and I remember the colors red and yellow. She had a collection of decorative plates on the walls.
Life wasn’t easy for Louise. She did not get the fairy tale ending every little girl dreams of. She’s at peace now.
“Instead of staying where you are tolerated, you need to go where you are appreciated…Live in peace.” http://www.facebook.com/TheWordForYouTodayUSA/
You don’t have to wait until your death to have peace. Jesus offers us peace here and now.
Isaiah 26:3, 4, “You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in You, all whose thoughts are fixed on You! Trust in the Lord always, for the Lord God is the eternal Rock.” New Living Translation
When you put your trust in God, you will have His Peace.
Dear Father God,
I know You welcomed Louise home. She is experiencing perfect love, complete acceptance, and indescribable peace. She is also missed by those who love her. Comfort her family. Give them peace.
In Jesus Name,
