I was cleaning the glass on the family photos on the wall in the office. I accidentally knocked off one and broke the frame.
Wanting to make it right, I dug through my frames. I ended up switching a frame in the hall with the one I found. I placed the picture in the frame from the hall and hung it up.
While I was cleaning, Satan reminded me of a conversation with a relative that we had while looking at the photos. I said something I later regretted. I asked God to forgive me for what I said.
God didn’t remember it.
Hebrews 8:12, “And I will forgive their wickedness, and I will never again remember their sins.” New Living Translation
I fell for it again. Satan reminds me of a failure and I repent, but it is not only forgiven, it is forgotten.
Christ paid for it.
Hebrews 9:14, 15, “Just think how much more the blood of Christ will purify our consciences from sinful deeds so that we can worship the living God. For by the power of the eternal Spirit, Christ offered himself to God as a perfect sacrifice for our sins.” New Living Translation
Dear Father God,
Thank you for forgiving and forgetting my sins.
In Jesus Name,
