Clarity

I started a project in 2000 that will take me the rest of my life to complete. I read a few verses in the Bible and look up all of the cross-reference verses. I am using the New International Version Study Bible for this and I read the notes about those verses at the bottom of the page.

“After 16 years, I am in the book of Psalms.”

One day, I was concerned that I would not complete this project before I die. I asked God about it and he replied with this verse…

1 Corinthians 13:12, “Now we see things imperfectly, like puzzling reflections in a mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely.” New Living Translation

I am learning as I work on this project; but I don’t have to worry about completing it.

Dear Father God,

Thank You for the Bible. Thank You for making a way for us to learn about you. I look forward to the day that I understand everything.

In Jesus Name,

Amen
