Foretelling

The first time it happened, was when I suddenly had a desire to recycle. I wanted to take care of the earth God created. A month later, recycling became mandatory in our town. God was telling me it was coming and I was ready.

The second time was when my health just kept deteriorating. It was July and God told me in six months I would be done with my job. He told me to complete all the projects he had given me.

The third time was after I stepped down from my job. He told me that my income would be replaced with disability. It did not happen overnight. After six months, my disability insurance kicked in, but it took four years for Social Security Disability to start.

The fourth time was when I asked him how long I would be completely housebound. He told me three years. At the end of three years, the doctor told me my immune system was weak to the point that I had to go out a bit, to build it back up. I go out 3 times a week for 4 hours at a time.

Yesterday, I heard from God again

Isaiah 42:8, 9, “I am the Lord…Everything I prophesied has come true, and now I will prophesy again. I will tell you the future before it happens.” New Living Translation

He told me I would not be free to write posts for this Bible Reading Guide. We see religious freedoms taken away a little at a time. It is a sign of the last days of the earth.

What will I do? I don’t know; but I know God has a plan for me and he will tell me what to do when the time comes.

Isaiah 46:10, “Only I can tell you the future before it even happens. Everything I plan will come to pass, for I do whatever I wish.” New Living Translation

When will it happen? It could be years, but it also could be months. It doesn’t matter. I know who holds tomorrow. Until that time, I plan on telling you

  1. God loves you.
  2. He has a plan for you.
  3. He loves it when you talk to Him.
  4. He will talk to you and tell you the future, if you ask Him.
  5. Many times, He speaks to you through the Bible when you read it.

Dear Father God,

I trust You. When the day comes that I have to do something else, I know You will tell me, prepare me, and give me the desire to tackle the new job! I thank You profusely for the religious freedoms I enjoy. I thank You that I am free to pray out loud, read my Bible out loud, and share the things You show me each day. Help me to get out-of-the-way and only share the things that come directly from You. Help others to see that this is available to them.

In Jesus Name,

Amen
