I was cleaning out the storage room and left our love letters on the table. That night, our son couldn’t sleep and he read them. The next day, he told me he could understand our relationship better.
I have a banker’s box full of spiral notebooks. I numbered the pages and there is a table of contents in the front. I recorded the date of the devotions, and for the notes I take at church, the name of the speaker. I have started filling a second box.
I can refer back to older sermons easily when I want to look something up. Someday, I hope my descendants will read them and learn the lessons that I learned the hard way. It will help them understand my journey.
Habakkuk 2:2, “Then the Lord said to me, ‘Write my answers plainly on tablets, so that a runner can carry the correct message to others.'” New Living Translation
Dear Father God,
Help me to record my message correctly. Help me to learn from the experiences of others.
In Jesus Name,
