Yesterday we read about God scattering the Egyptians. Today we read how God treats those he scatters.
Jeremiah 24:6, “I will watch over and care for them, and I will bring them back here again. I will build them up and not tear them down. I will plant them and not uproot them.” New Living Translation
No one wants to go into captivity, but God takes care of his own in spite of captivity. The often quoted verse in Jeremiah 29 referred to the captives.
Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” New Living Translation
Dear Father God,
I am grateful that You scattered my ancestors to America. I am grateful that You have a plan for me and my family. I know You watch over us and care for us. You build us up and plant us. Make me productive in this place that you have planted me.
In Jesus Name,
