My generic Fitbit sometimes gives me fits! I have tried several times to use the EKG monitor with the same results; it buzzes and gives me the message, “Wake up!” (It also goes into sleep mode when I hear blues music.)
The most annoying thing is the alarm. The first day, I set it for 5 am. I can’t change it or shut it off! According to my phone, the alarm is off.
That’s not so bad now because I start waking up naturally around that time. But, in the fall, when we turn our clocks back, it will be buzzing at 4 am! I am not looking forward to that!
The good news? I have an hour, or two, of quiet for my devotions.
Lamentations 3:21-25, “Yet I still dare to hope when I remember this; the faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning. I say to myself. ‘The Lord is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!’ The Lord is good to those who depend on him, to those who search for him.” New Living Translation
Early in the morning, I search for God. His mercies are new every day!
Dear Father God,
Thank You for meeting me early in the morning. Thank You for giving me hope and being my inheritance. Thank You for being good to me. Thank You for being faithful. Guide me during this busy day.
In Jesus Name,
