Solomon married the daughter of Pharaoh. He refers to his beloved as his bride, (see 4:8), and as his sister, (see 4:9). She was closer to him than family.

This kind of physical love, described by Solomon, can only be experienced between two virgins. They learn the delights of sex together. They don’t learn how to make love, but how to please each other.
