We attend a satellite church. Everything is live, except the sermon. We watch the sermon recorded at the early service in Mt. Pleasant on a building-sized screen.

At the start of yesterday’s sermon, Pastor Monte joked that he could see Danny. We all laughed and Danny loved it. He raised both arms in pride as if to say, “I am Danny.”

In the evening, at Connect Group, we were discussing being friends with Jesus. Gary B. said, “When Jesus talks to me, it’s like I’m the only one He sees.”

Jesus is personal, a friend that is closer than a brother. It doesn’t matter where we are – He sees us.

Luke 19:5, “When Jesus came to the vicinity, He looked up and saw him, and said to him, “Zaccheus, hurry and come down, for today I must remain at your house.” Modern English Version

When Jesus comes into our life – He stays. He’s there for dinner, awake in the middle of the night, and waiting for us at the crack of dawn. He’s walking next to us at work and encourages us in the heat of the day. He always sees us and he looks at us with immeasurable love.
