When we arrived to set up for the church service, Brian, the sound technician, was outside. He opened the door for me and said, “This door is the artist’s entrance.”

“If I see an artist, I’ll be sure to tell them,” I quipped.

Later, after I had both the keyboards set up, he told me of a man who purchased a keyboard used in Michael Jackson’s concerts. It was programmed with all of the keyboard solos. He would hit the corresponding button and pretend to play the solos.

“I throw in wrong notes, just to prove we are live!” I explained.

Yeah, right. Those “accidentals” in my “interpretation” of the music happen more often than I care to admit! They keep me humble.

Micah 6:8, “He has told you, O man, what is good – and what does the Lord require of you, but to do justice and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?” Modern English Version
