Triangle

We’ve read of good kings and evil kings. When there was a king who followed the Lord, and the people were seeking God, the kingdom was secure. It worked like a triangle; the king and the people both drawing nearer to God at the top.

When an evil king took the throne, the triangle became a lightning bolt. the people still moved toward God, but the king moved away. That kingdom fell apart quickly.

When the people drew away from God to follow an evil king, the kingdom became an inverted triangle. It may have seemed okay at first, but it cannot balance on a point for long. The wind of adversity will blow it over and destroy it.

The situation would change drastically when the people and the king returned to serving God.

2 Chronicles 30:9, “. . .For the Lord your God is gracious and compassionate. He will not turn His face from you if you all return to Him.” Modern English Version

It is never too late to return to God.
