Uneducated

My sister-in-law, Melinda, was telling me about her job at Physician’s Employment. The number of doctors looking for employment in their 70’s and 80’s surprised her.

“One applicant was 93!” she exclaimed.

“Maybe he hasn’t paid off his student loans,” I quipped.

Education is important, but literacy is even more important. There is something even greater than both!

Acts 4:13, “When they saw the boldness of Peter and John and perceived that they were illiterate and uneducated men, they marveled. And they recognized that they had been with Jesus.” Modern English Version

The more time we spend with Jesus, the more we rely on Him. We no longer have to remember a correct response, because He brings it to our memory. He will even tell us what to say.

Luke 12:12, “When they bring you to the synagogues, rulers, and authorities, do not be anxious how you will answer or what you will say. For the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what you should say.” Modern English Version

Luke 21:15, “For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your opponents will be able to neither refute nor resist.” Modern English Version
