I’m in big trouble!

I did not practice on Friday or yesterday. We switched keys in 2 songs and I really should have practiced. I was a little worried when I opened my Bible today.

Acts 7:25, “He supposed that his brothers would understand that God would deliver them by his hand, but they did not understand.” Modern English Version

God did use Moses to deliver the Hebrews but it wasn’t through the acts of Moses; it was through the Acts of God. God reminded me of the worship service on Wednesday night.

I didn’t practice on Monday because it was Memorial Day. On Tuesday, I couldn’t find the email with the list of songs. I finally sent a message on Wednesday to get the list.

God showed up in a special way. Pastor Monte said he wished we had kept on singing! My hands were on the keyboard, but it was an Act of God that brought the anointing on the music.

I don’t intend to make this a habit. The Bible instructs us to play skillfully. Skill only comes with practice. But the music does not depend on my skill, worship comes from God.
