10th Anniversary
“I DID IT?”
…a spotlight on readers and their projects…
Better Homes and Gardens July 2017
As I read the article, I recognized the projects and one of the blogs, atthepicketfence.com. Since appearing in Better Homes and Gardens, 4 of these bloggers have moved, 2 launched a business, 1 launched a YouTube channel, 1 appeared in another magazine, 1 published a book, and they posted thousands of DIY projects.
This is my 10th year of blogging and – I started adding emoticons to my posts this weekend. 😀
Actually, I’ve written almost 4000 posts and have a multitude of DIY projects on frugalfish.org. I considered submitting one of them to the Better Homes and Gardens “I DID IT!” page but I’m not sure I’m supposed to continue posting to frugalfish.org.
It was never my desire to blog; I wanted to write and help people. Blogging gave me a platform. The technical side gives me a headache.
Writing about discoveries in the Bible is easy. Writing about living inexpensively is not. Even the DIY projects I posted were a lot of work.
I did a little research on submitting one of these posts but hit a dead-end. I was left with more questions than answers.
Ephesians 5:17, “Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.” Modern English Version
* * * * * *
“So watch your step. Use your head. Make the most of every chance you get. These are desperate times! Don’t live carelessly, unthinkingly. Make sure you understand what the Master wants.” The Message
The only question that matters is, “What does my Master want me to do?” I want to make the most of every chance I get, but I want to wisely think it through.
