In the Bible, the priests and prophets were the oracles. Today, everyone is. There will be two sides to an issue and both will claim God is on their side.
Jeremiah 23:36, “And the oracle of the Lord you shall mention no more, for every man’s word will be his oracle. For you have perverted the words of the living God, of the Lord of Hosts our God.” Modern English Version
How do we know whom to trust? The Bible. It doesn’t matter who the speaker is – if their message does not agree with the Word of God, it is best to ignore it.
