Two Camps

Mom just called with good news. She noticed that my sister reserved two adjoining rooms with 2 beds in each. We like to wake up at 5 am and my sister is a night owl! Some of us like to sleep in a quiet, dark room and others sleep with the TV on. With two rooms, both camps will be happy!

Genesis 32:1, 2, “Jacob went on his way, and the angels of God met him. When Jacob saw them, he said, ‘This is God’s camp.’ So he called the name of that place Mahanaim.” Modern English Version

“Mahanaim. Two camps….Hana…a day drawing to its close, or a temporary settling in….Right before Jacob names the region Mahanaim, he is met by angels of God. That motivates him to say, ‘This is God’s camp.’ ” abarim-publications.com/Meaning/Mahanaim.html#.Wd46EUuGPrc

This verse assures me that angels will meet us at the hotel in which we camp. God will be with us every mile of the trip. Wherever we camp, will be God’s camp!
