God is the God of second chances. 2 Peter 3:9 tells us He doesn’t want any to miss out. Today, Moses was given a second chance but we see he had to work harder the second time.
Exodus 34:1, “Now the Lord said to Moses, ‘Cut out for yourself two tablets of stone like the first, and I will write on these tablets the words that were on the first tablets, which you broke.’ ” Modern English Version
God carved the first tablets out of stone for Moses, see Exodus 31:18. Moses had to carve out the second set himself.
It’s time to get up, eat breakfast, and get ready for church. (I’m having blueberry muffins!) Don’t put it off. It will be much harder next week.
