How do you know when you are fulfilling God’s purpose in your life? When you wake up in the middle of the night and work until you feel drowsy again.
Two nights in a row I woke up at 2:00 a.m. I went to my office and started writing! After half an hour, I went back to bed but still couldn’t sleep. I “played” through the music for the church service in my head.
My purpose is to write a yearly “Relevant” Bible Reading Guide and write a daily post about one of the verses in the assigned chapter. I am also to share my musical gifts with my church. I work on these every day.
Sometimes, I get off track – like the website last summer. When things don’t work out, that leads to discouragement. God always gives me a verse to encourage me.
Mark 6:8, 9, “Don’t think you need a lot of extra equipment for this. You are the equipment. No special appeals for funds. Keep it simple.” The Message
There’s a text box on both blogs that says…
“No advertisements, no pop-up windows, no donation requests on this blog.” frugalfish.org
I don’t monetize my blogs but God always provides money for the fees. I am happiest when I keep it simple.
