Pastor Monte Knudsen set a goal of winning 2500 people to Christ over the next year. Each attendee will need to lead 1 person to Christ every quarter.
The first quarter is almost over and I have not been successful. I’ve planted a lot of seeds. I watered them with prayer but have yet to see a harvest.
1 Corinthians 3:6-9, “I planted the seed, Apollos watered the plants, but God made you grow. (7) It’s not the one who plants or the one who waters who is at the center of this process but God, who makes things grow. (8) Planting and watering are menial servant jobs at minimum wages. (9) What makes them worth doing is the God we are serving. You happen to be God’s field in which we are working….” The Message
The temple Solomon built was glorious. But someone had to do the dirty work. We remember Huram, who made the pretty things. We don’t know the names of the men working in the foundry.
2 Chronicles 4:17, “The king had them cast in clay in a foundry on the Jordan plain between Succoth and Zarethan.” The Message
I plant seeds and play the keyboard in the background. The menial work is worth doing because of the God I serve. Only He knows how many seeds I planted that others harvested. And He knows the hearts moved by the music.

To God nothing is ”
Menial Work”. I have been frustrated lately about how all I do is clean it, mop it, wash it, then clean it again. Pastor Eric and Pastor Monte’s message helped me as I feel God told me someone has to clean it or things would be a mess.
