We spent a few hours with our granddaughter last night. It was late but we thought she would fall asleep on the way home. She couldn’t settle down. So, I sang to her.
I sang the songs Mommy sings and then some Sunday School songs. David sang some of her favorite worship songs.
Finally, she said, “Grandma Pam, can I have my Leapfrog pad – and headphones?”
She never did fall asleep. She played a game and then we told her stories.
“I only had a crush on one girl.”
“Me!” I exclaimed. She giggled.
Psalms 78:7, “Know the truth and tell the stories so their children can trust in God.” The Message
