The Term of an Enlisted Soldier

Bill’s visitation was full of laughter. He rested peacefully as if taking a nap. Our eyes filled with tears but didn’t spill over in despair. We know we will see him again. We will sing together and play together again.

Bill was a good soldier. Had he not died on Saturday, he would have played on Sunday. He lived each day to its fullest.
