Nothing Makes Sense

February 6, 2019: 1 Samuel 25, 26; Psalms 16

I did it again. I sent music to my “Happiness Engineer.” Thank God she has a sense of humor. She thanked me for the chords but informed me she plays the piano not guitar.

I clicked on the link in the email. It took me to the saved work. But when I opened it, it was “Joy to the World!”

I went back to the program. It would not open. My video is floating somewhere in cyberspace. It is not with the videos saved to my laptop.

Psalms 16:2, “I say to God, ‘Be my Lord! Without You, nothing makes sense.’ ” The Message

The “Happiness Engineer” also asked several questions. I went back through my DayTimer to see the date that I wrote the February’s chapters post. I typed it on January 17th and scheduled it for the 25th. It did not have the issues my regular posts had.

I answered all her questions and sent the email. I added a postscript: P.S. I play the piano, too!

  1. I like how David just pours out his heart, angry and hurt. No holding back. Yet he trusts God to take care of him.

    • My devotional today said, “Get down to the nitty-gritty where you talk honestly about where you’re coming from and what you feel, think, and desire. That’s what being friends with God is all about!”
Why do I talk to all my other friends first?
