March 4, 2019: Psalms 27, 127; Song of Solomon 1-5.
Nap on Monday?
I slept until almost 6 am. I guess those nights of only 6 hours of sleep caught up with me. I wrote 2 posts and was ready for a nap!
But who naps at 10 am? Everyone is at work. What if someone stops by and I’m asleep on the couch? What will the neighbors think?
I walked into the living room. It was -10° outside but the sun was pouring in my big window. And the couch looked so inviting…
It’s amazing how a 15-minute power nap can revive you!
Psalms 27:1, “Light, space, zest – that’s God! So, with Him on my side I’m fearless, afraid of no one and nothing.”

“Mom, are you praying for my friend?”
Laura told me one of her friends moved to Washington to work on a tug boat. He wasn’t there long when the captain laid off the crew. He decided to take a vacation in Hawaii. He invited his mother to join him.
On the plane ride, she struck up a conversation with the man next to her. He owned a tug boat – in Hawaii!
I told Laura, “I pray for all your friends. One day, you’ll marry a friend.”
Song of Solomon 1:15, “Oh, my dear friend! You’re so beautiful! And your eyes so beautiful – like doves!” The Message
