March 6, 2019: Proverbs 1-4.

 

Investments

The Dave Ramsey class last night was on investments. He explained Mutual Funds and diversification. His recommended percentages floored me. They were the same percentages God gave me when we opened David’s 401K. We never changed them or borrowed the money.

Fast forward to 2017. We made 20% on our investments. The company strongly suggested we “rebalance” our accounts. We lost the 20% we earned plus all the money we invested in 2018. In January, we “rebalanced” again. I’m sure our “rebalancing” brought in greater profits for their company. I’m ready to move on.

Proverbs 1:18-19, “Nobody robs a bank with everyone watching, (19) Yet, that’s what these people are doing – When you grab all you can get, that’s what happens: the more you get, the less you are.”
