March 16, 2019: 2 Chronicles 5, 6; Psalms 46-48, 87, 93.

Today is Richard and Kortney’s 40th Wedding Anniversary party. They are my daughter-in-law Bethany’s parents. Richard is a contractor and David sees him regularly at the lumberyard.

They are involved in many volunteer activities and work together as a team. (That is one secret to a long marriage: Work as a team!)

We picked up Mom to surprise them. They went to the same church for over a decade. Kortney was happy to see her and Mom got to catch up with other friends.

It was a day of celebration and joy! God was there in that church basement rejoicing with us. (Another secret to a long marriage: Go to church together faithfully!)
