Solomon Built Extravagantly

March 19, 2019: 2 Chronicles 8; 1 Kings 10; 2 Chronicles 9; Ecclesiastes 1.

Wednesday night will be the last “Financial Peace University” class. I can’t wait to change our retirement portfolio. But, I need to review our insurance policies first. I’m waiting for the third quote.

* * * * * * * *

King Solomon was the wisest and richest king that ever lived. What did he invest in? Properties.

2 Chronicles 8:6, “…Solomon built impulsively and extravagantly – wherever a whim took him. And in Jerusalem, in Lebanon – wherever he fancied.” The Message

Solomon had tens of thousands of slaves and thousands of managers and administrators. They built and maintained the properties.

Properties are a good investment if I have the time and knowledge to keep them up. I need to start by maintaining the things I already own. God will not give me more if I don’t take care of what I have.
