Ponder the Rock from Which You Were Cut

May 9, 2019: Isaiah 51-53.

It was time. I had to return the book to the library. “To Your Children’s Children – Preserving Family Histories for Generations to Come” by Bob Greene and D. G. Fulford is full of questions to help you write your life’s story.

I renewed it once and still hadn’t finished the questions in the first chapter! I wrote down the next chapter’s questions in my notebook. When I answer them, I’ll check the book out again.

I’m stuck because I have to get the answer to the current question from Mom. I’ve talked to her twice this week and forgot both times. She’s at Bible Study now. I will have to call her later.

Isaiah 51:1, 2, “Listen to me, all you who are serious about right living and committed to seeking God. Ponder the rock from which you were cut, the quarry from which you were dug. (2) Yes, ponder Abraham, your father, and Sarah who bore you. …” The Message
