I’ll Keep My Eye on Them

May 29, 2019: Jeremiah 45, 35; 2 Kings 24; Jeremiah 24.

I rode to church with Derek and Rachel. The bridge over the Skunk River concerned me. The fields on both sides are lakes. The corn underneath the water was 3″ high the last time I came through. It’s so sad.

The fields before the first Mt. Pleasant exit were also lakes. The water has almost reached the roadbed.

Jeremiah 46:4, “But God says, ‘Look around. What I’ve built I’m about to wreck, and what I’ve planted I’m about to rip up. And I’m doing it everywhere – all over the whole earth.'” The Message

Even if God wrecks what He’s built, He can build something new.

Even if God rips up what He planted, He can replant again.

Jeremiah 24:6-7, “I’ll keep My eye on them so that their lives are good, and I’ll bring them back to this land. I’ll build them up, not tear them down; I’ll plant them, not uproot them. (7) And I’ll give them a heart to know Me, God. They’ll be My people and I’ll be their God, for they’ll have returned to Me with all their hearts.” The Message

God keeps His eye on us.
