June 21, 2019: Galatians 4-6.

Galatians 6:1, 4, 5, “Live creatively, friends. … (4) Make a careful exploration of who you are and the work you have been given, and then sink yourself into that. Don’t be impressed with yourself. Don’t compare yourself to others. (5) Each of you must take responsibility for doing the creative best you can with your own life.” The Message

I trimmed the ivy back to fit in the pot. The small plant had several dead leaves. I took it downstairs.

I moved the table with the large, snake plant further back into the corner and put the ivy on the lower shelf. That is the only spot I have for plants. If they don’t make it there, they are gone.

I moved the floor lamp from behind the side table and then slid the table back. I replaced it with a smaller table lamp.

I moved the floor lamp across the room next to the chair. I took down the horizontal print of a young girl. I replaced it with a vertical print of a blue flower. I’m not satisfied with the floor lamp there but it will have to do for today.

Decorating is one way I express my creativity. I now have two fresh spaces in my living room. Next time, I will take “before” and “after” pictures.
