I was having a bad day. Everything seemed to go wrong. When David came home for lunch, I took the van to the library.
I ran into a friend who was looking for “Battlefield of the Mind,” by Joyce Meyer. I went to the correct shelf and found it for her.
Right next to it was “Managing Your Emotions.” I checked it out.
“…That is the way true emotional healing works. It is initiated by the Holy Spirit, not by anything that is conjured up by the one seeking help. …He [the Holy Spirit] leads us one step at a time. He knows when we are ready and able to face certain things. …”
“Managing Your Emotions” by Joyce Meyer

Romans 4:3, “What we read in scripture is, ‘Abraham entered into what God was doing for him, and that was the turning point. He trusted God to set him right instead of trying to be right on his own.'” The Message
It’s not what I do, but what God does.
July 9, 2019: Romans 4-6.
