A Circle of Quiet

It was a quiet day. Just my normal morning activities. I spent the afternoon dealing with fresh vegetables.

I hung the green onions in the garage to dry. I froze some of the red onions. I added a few to the cucumber salad I made.

I made salsa and Pico de Gallo to use up the Roma tomatoes. Then, I cooked the beets and carrots for dinner.

David grilled pork chops. I put Pico de Gallo on mine. The jalapenos made my nose run and that broke the sinus headache.

I was in a circle of quiet.

Psalms 94:12-13, “How blessed the man you train, God, the woman you instruct in your Word, (13) providing a circle of quiet within the clamor of evil…” The Message

August 17, 2019: Lamentations 4, 5; Psalms 79, 94; Jeremiah 40.
