I regret:
- Eating the leftovers on Tuesday. (There’s less time to cook on Wednesday.)
- Eating a piece of cheesecake at lunch. (It was “cheesecake night” at E3 and I had two more pieces.)
- Playing computer games for 2 hours. (That added 2 more tasks to today.)
But there is one thing I will never regret – holding on to my integrity.
Job 27:6, “I’m holding fast to my integrity and not loosening my grip – and, believe me, I’ll never regret it.” The Message

“Integrity – 1. the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles; moral uprightness. 2. the state of being whole and undivided.” Oxford Dictionary
I admit I was not acting with integrity when I failed to plan, overindulged, and wasted time. But all I had to do was repent and God forgave me. God sees my heart. It is where my integrity lives.
Proverbs 4:23, “Keep diligent watch over your heart; that’s where life starts.” The Message
September 4, 2019: Job 27-30.
