Last week, I played the keyboard with sunglasses and a mask on. They covered the hives.
I said I was being a “Diva” but the truth was the hives were infected. Right after church we went to the walk-in clinic. She prescribed antibiotics and different antihistamines.
I was disappointed when I woke today and still had red, burning hives. I decided to just ignore them.
When I read today’s verse, I thought, “I wish Jesus was in my kitchen.”
“Matthew 8:3, “Reaching out his hand, Jesus touched him, saying, ‘I am willing; be made clean.’ ”
Christian Standard Bible
Hebrews 13:8 tells us, Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He is in my kitchen!
In John 9:1-12, we read of Jesus healing a man blind from birth. His disciples asked him, “Who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind.”
Jesus said, “Neither…but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him.”
Am I willing for the works of God to be displayed in me? Are you?
A Prayer
Dear Heavenly Father,
I know suffering is a part of life on this broken planet. Help me to endure. I pray that your glory is displayed in me.
In the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ,
Amen
